Did Paul Do Away With the Law? thebiblesaysthat.com

Did Paul do away with the law? Many believe that he did just that…though scripture, and specifically Paul’s words do not support this belief. The Ten commandments are the foundation of the law of God and Paul speaks of each law specifically.
(1 Cor 6:9-10) “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor (1, 2) idolaters, nor (7) adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor (8) thieves, nor (10) covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” (Gal 5:19-21)” Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: (7) adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,  (1, 2) idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, (6) murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;” (Col 3:8-9) “But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, (3) blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.  Do not (9) lie to one another,” (Eph 6:1-2) “ children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. (5) “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:” (Acts 18:4) “And he reasoned in the synagogue every (4) Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.”
In these few verses Paul mentions to the reader that all ten of the Commandments should be kept. Paul also said of the law – (Rom 2:13-14) “for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;” Paul clearly did not preach doing away with the law.
